Pakistan Defense Minister Khawaja Asif: Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has made serious allegations against India. He said that Afghan Taliban is waging a proxy war for India against Pakistan. His statement has come amid increasing tension between Taliban and Pakistan. Asif claimed that New Delhi is behind many decisions in Afghanistan and Afghan land is being used by India for anti-Pakistan activities.
Kabul is fighting proxy war for Delhi
In an interview with Geo News, he said that right now Kabul is fighting a proxy war for Delhi. He also mentioned the recent six-day visit of Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaki to India. Taking a jibe at this, he asked what hidden agenda could be behind his visit. Asif said that some steps of Taliban appear to be in direct support of India. He also said that Pakistan has always wanted peace and stability in Afghanistan, but some forces are trying to spoil the relations between the two countries.

Tension continues between Pakistan and Afghanistan
There has been tension between Pakistan and Afghanistan since last week. Pakistan had carried out air strikes on the TTP group present in Afghanistan. After this the Afghan Taliban also retaliated. Taliban soldiers have attacked Pakistani soldiers on the border and captured many posts. This increased tension between the two countries. Later there was a ceasefire mediated by Qatar and Saudi Arabia, but the tension is still not over.
