The Shri Shyam Temple Committee has changed the timing of Baba’s darshan and decided that the doors of the world famous Khatushyam temple will now be closed every Saturday night at 10 pm. Sri Shyam Temple Committee Minister Manvendra Singh Chauhan said that to keep the ancient traditions and systems prevalent in the Shri Shyam temple smooth, Shyam Baba’s doors will be closed every Saturday from 10 am to 5 am on Sunday.
The first Saturday used to have 24 hours
For many years, the Khatu Shyam temple used to be open 24 hours every Saturday, due to which devotees from all over the country used to reach for darshan without a time limit. But from now on every Saturday, the doors of the temple will be closed at 10 pm, so that the volunteers and employees working in the temple can get relief. Then the next day on Sunday, the doors of the temple will be opened for darshan at 5 am.
At the same time, a few months ago, the Shri Shyam Temple Committee took the decision and issued a letter of closure of the temple from 2 pm to 4 pm in other days except Saturday, Sunday, Shukla Paksha Ekadashi and Dwadashi. In such a situation, if you are thinking about going to Khatu Shyam temple on Saturday, then take special care of the new time of Darshan.
Khatu Shyam ji’s darshan is from what time to what time?
The doors of Khatu Shyam Temple open at 4:00 am after Mangala Aarti at 5:00 am. Then till 10:00 pm, the doors are open to the devotees. The temple remains closed from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm in summer, because Baba rests during this time. The temple is open 24 hours throughout the day on Ekadashi.
