The new season of the Rohit Shetty-hosted adventure reality series sees the return of Bigg Boss 14 winner Rubina Dilaik. Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 takes place in Cape Town, South Africa, where former and new contestants are mingling for the title this season. Returning contestant Rubina had a bit of a wobble in her first-ever challenge on the reality series, but she praised host Rohit Shetty and the team of Khatron Ke Khiladi for taking such good care of her. Later, she recalled thinking how lucky she was to be alive after the incident.

In an exclusive interview with Telly Talk India, the actress said that she has no memory of what happened as everything came crashing down; wants to see what actually happened in the first episode. In the stunt, Rubina had to perform an aerial stunt and hang on a rope ladder in a moving helicopter. She went on to state, “In the first stunt I realised I may not be the same I was when I did my first season, and I collapsed. All I know is it was a great struggle. Maine himmat nahi hari hai [I never lost my courage].”
Her first thought after coming to was that she was okay and alive. She recalled thinking, “Thank God I’m alive and I can go back to my daughters.” She is mother to twin girls Jeeva and Edhaa. The Laughter Chefs 2 contestant also explained that the stunts this season are so larger than life but went on to laud the efficient team of the reality series that took care of her when she collapsed and helped get medical treatment by rushing her into an ambulance.

Rubina added, “When I landed from the chopper on the ground before I fainted, I saw standing in front of me, and he was asking, ‘Rubina, where does it hurt? What happened? Explain’. He was there for me.”

Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 premieres on Colors on August 1, 2026, and will also be streamed on JioHotstar. The biweekly show will air every Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm. Besides Rubina, other contestants this season include Gaurav Khanna, Avinash Mishra, Orhan Awatramani, Harsh Gujral, Farrhana Bhatt, Shagun Sharma, Avika Gor, Jasmin Bhasin, Karan Wahi, Rithvik Dhanjani, and Vishal Aditya Singh.
