Kharmas 2026: Kharmas is considered inauspicious in Sanatan Dharma scriptures. Kharmas is observed when Lord Surya enters Jupiter’s zodiac signs Sagittarius and Pisces. This is considered an inauspicious period of one month. When the Sun is in Sagittarius and Pisces, its influence further reduces. During this period the influence of Guru also reduces. During the time of Kharmas, all auspicious works including marriage are stopped.
Buying new houses and starting business are also avoided during Kharmas. Kharmas is going to start in this month. There is not much time left for it to start. In such a situation, let us know about those things which should not be done even by mistake during Kharmas.
When will Kharmas be applied?
This year, at 01:08 am on March 14, the king of planets, Sun, will enter Pisces from Aquarius. In the English calendar, the next day is considered after 12 o’clock at night. According to this, 01:08 pm will be considered as the day of 15th March. Therefore Kharmas will start from March 15 this year. Kharmas will end on 14th April.
Do not do this work in Kharmas
Starting new business: Do not start any new business during Kharmas. It is believed that starting a new business during Kharmas brings obstacles in it.
Home Entrance: Do not enter the house during Kharmas. Doing this affects the happiness, peace and positivity in the house. Apart from this, one should not build a new house during this period.
Engagement or relationship fixed: Along with marriage, do not decide on any engagement or relationship during Kharmas. By doing this there is a possibility of deterioration of relations.
Car purchase: Do not buy a new house or car in Kharmas. Also avoid buying jewelery for wedding.
