Why are there no Khar months in Khar month?

During the month of Khar, no auspicious functions of any kind like marriage, engagement, housewarming etc. take place. The reason behind this is also related to astrology. According to him, it is necessary for Jupiter to be auspicious for auspicious works but during the month of Khar when the Sun is in the zodiac sign of Jupiter then the planet Jupiter becomes dim. The rays of Jupiter do not reach the earth at this time. For this reason, auspicious works are not done in the month of Khar. But during this time you can do chanting, penance, charity etc.
