How to make Saffron Kheer
First of all, take a heavy bottomed vessel, add milk in it and cook it on low flame. When the milk starts boiling, stir it to thicken it a little. Now add soaked chalal in it and keep stirring in between. When the rice is cooked well in milk, add sugar to it. On the other hand, soak some threads of saffron in a cup of hot milk. After adding sugar, add dry fruits to it and add a little mawa. Let it boil again and add saffron milk on top and mix it well. Cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes and then add cardamom powder. Now turn off the gas. Once cooled slightly, serve with rose leaves and finely chopped dry fruits.
