CPM leader Majeed in Kerala’s Malappuram district targeted women in his speech, saying that women brought into families by marriage should not be presented in front of strangers just to get votes or win the ward.
Thiruvananthapuram. In Malappuram district of Kerala, a local leader associated with CPM said very objectionable things against women in his speech, after which there was an uproar. Said Ali Majeed, who won the Thennella Panchayat by a margin of just 47 votes, while addressing his supporters, said something about women, which worsened the matter.
