Kerala State Film Awards 2025: 74 year old Mammootty best actor for the 7th time, see full list

Actor Mammootty won the Best Actor award for a record 7th time at the Kerala Film Awards 2025, further strengthening his place in Malayalam cinema. ‘Manjummel Boys’ won the most awards in this award show.

The 55th Kerala State Film Awards were announced on Monday. Saji Cherian, Minister of Culture and Film in the Government of Kerala, announced the awards during an event held at Ramanilayam, Thrissur. Veteran Malayalam film actor Mammootty made the record of winning the most number of Best Actor awards. 74-year-old Mammootty won the Best Actor award for the film ‘Brahmyugam’ and this is the seventh time he has been honored with this award.
