An old man in Thiruvananthapuram got his grave built years ago and started waiting for death. When death did not come, he committed suicide. He had even deposited the money for his last rites in the bank so that no one would face any problem.
Thiruvananthapuram A surprising news has come from Thiruvananthapuram. Here a 72 year old man waited for death for years to be buried in his own grave, but when natural death did not come, he committed suicide by hanging himself. The matter is of Vattakarikakam area of Thiruvananthapuram. P. Mohanan (72), who lives here, was found hanging in his house. The surprising thing is that years ago, when he was completely healthy, Mohanan had built a grave for himself in a corner of his house. He often used to go near that grave and clean it and spend his time there.
Relatives say that perhaps the wait for death became too long, that is why he decided to end his life. People in the neighborhood say that Mohanan was such a person who did not want to trouble anyone. He had already calculated the expenses and deposited the money in the bank so that his children and relatives did not face any problem during his funeral. The family members, respecting Mohanan’s last wish, buried him in the same grave which he himself had built.
