BJP has released the first list of 47 candidates for Kerala elections. In this, Union Minister Rajiv Chandrashekhar will contest from Nemam seat. Voting will take place in the state on April 9 and counting of votes on May 4.
Thiruvananthapuram: The election bugle has sounded in Kerala. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released the first list of its candidates for the assembly elections. There are names of 47 candidates in this list. The biggest name is that of Union Minister Rajeev Chandrashekhar, who will contest from Name seat.
Apart from this, R from Vattiyoorkavu. Sreelekha, Manjeshwaram to K. Surendran, Beypur to K.P. Prakash Babu, Kattakkada to P.K. Krishnadas, V. Muraleedharan from Kashakkoottam, Padmaja from Thrissur and Major Ravi from Ottapalam have been given tickets. BJP state president Rajeev Chandrashekhar said that candidates for the remaining seats will be announced tomorrow or the day after.
Before this, CPI and CPM have also announced their candidates. Voting will take place in Kerala on April 9, while counting of votes and declaration of results will take place on May 4. Along with Kerala, voting will also be held in Assam and Puducherry on April 9 only. At the same time, voting will be held in Tamil Nadu on 23 April. In Kerala, while LDF is trying to form the government for the third consecutive time, UDF is trying to return to power.
