“Weighed 31 kilos, affected by cancer, still completed Chhath”
This video has been shared by Instagram user Priyam Gupta. He told in the video,
“You know how much power Chhath Puja has, when a 74-year-old woman who was fighting cancer decided to perform Chhath. In 2019, a grandmother from my city insisted on performing Chhath. Her weight was only 31 kg, she was on chemotherapy, but she followed every rule of Chhath with full enthusiasm and devotion.”

“That was his last Chhath…”
Priyam further said,
“That Chhath was her last Chhath, but she performed it as if the Sun God himself was in front of her. After her departure, her sons carried forward this tradition of their mother. Even today, both the sons worship Chhathi Maiya with the same devotion as their mother used to do.”
