Kenya Airplane Crash: A major air accident occurred in Kenya on Tuesday 28 October, in which 11 people are reported dead so far. Those killed included 8 pilots from Hungary, 2 from Germany and one from Kenya. The accident occurred in Kwale area of Kenya. This plane was going towards Masai Mara National Park. The accident was so severe that the plane was completely burnt to ashes. It is believed that the chances of survival of any person aboard the plane are very less.

Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) said that the aircraft number 5Y-CCA took off from Diani Airstrip and was heading towards Kichwa Tembo but met with an accident after going about 40 KM. The plane crash occurred in a forested area of Kwale around 5:30 am local time. It is being told that at the place where the plane accident took place, there was rain and visibility was also very low. According to the airline, the pilot lost contact with ATC after the flight.

According to reports, the crashed plane belonged to Mombasa Air Safari. The airline is known for its flights connecting coastal cities like Mombasa to Kenya’s major tourism spots and the world famous Maasai Mara and Nairobi. At present, the reason for the accident is believed to be low visibility and bad weather in this area. According to eyewitnesses, they heard a loud bang around 5 am. When people ran to the spot, they saw a burning plane and debris scattered here and there. Many dead bodies were burnt so badly that it was difficult to even identify them. There were a total of 12 people on board the plane.
