The Kawasaki Ninja 300 is one of the more affordable twin-cylinder premium entry-level sports bikes in the Indian market. It has a starting price of Rs 3.43 lakh (ex-showroom) and it was updated recently. Kawasaki is however offering Rs 84,000 discount on the pre-facelift version of the motorcycle. Mind you, this is only going to stay till the stocks last.
The new updated versions only get a few additional features like projector LED headlights and a new colourway. It is identical mechanically though so Rs 84,000 is a good bargain for this motorcycle. It is powered by a 295cc parallel twin engine which produces 38.8 bhp and 26.1 Nm of torque. It is paired to a 6-speed gearbox and also has a slip and assist clutch.
The Ninja 300 gets 37mm front telescopic forks and a mono-shock at the rear. Other features include dual channel ABS. The discounts make the Ninja 300 one of the most affordable twin-cylinder bikes in the country. There are no real competitions to it at this price point but in general the Ninja 300 competes with the likes of the KTM RC 390, TVS Apache RR 310, Yamaha R3 and the latest, the Aprilia RS 457. That being said, the Ninja 300 is also one of the oldest in the segment and lacks a lot in terms of features which the other manufacturers do offer.
