The 2026 Kawasaki ZX-6R has gotten an upgrade in their colour scheme and retains the same mechanical aspects and is now priced at Rs 11.69 lakh (ex-showroom). Kawasaki have added a colour in the ZX-6R portfolio, calling it Lime Green. It features white and blue streaks across the fairing and bodywork, giving it a good contrast over the previous Lime Green.
Overall, it is the same bike, with a 636cc, in-line four cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 129 bhp at 13,000 rpm and has a peak torque of 69 Nm at 11,000 rpm. The bike comes with convenience features which include slip and assist clutch, a TFT screen, power modes and quickshifter. Further, in safety features, it also comes with three levels of traction control, dual-channel ABS and KIBS (Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Braking System).
Features also include hazard lamps, four riding modes, including Road, Rain, Sport and Custom, LED headlights and taillights.
In its last version, the bike was priced at Rs 11.09 lakh, making this a very steep price hike for just one colour inclusion. Still, the ZX-6R is an attractive bike, being the only in-line four cylinder sportsbike in the segment. Kawasaki have said that it will be starting deliveries of the new iteration from the first week of September. It will still be competing with the likes of Honda CBR650R and Triumph Daytona 660.
