The company had recorded a net profit of Rs 559.32 crore during the April-June period a year ago. The company’s revenue declined by 1.77 per cent to Rs 1,290.28 crore in the June quarter. It was Rs 1,313.55 crore in the same quarter last year. In the June quarter of FY 2026, the total expenditure of Sun TV network increased by 10 percent to Rs 782 crore. However, in the June quarter, the total income of the Sun TV network, including other income, increased by 1.28 percent to Rs 1,479.19 crore.

Sun TV Indian Premier League Sunrisers Hyderabad Cricket Franchise and Cricket South Africa’s T20 League Sunrisers also own Eastern Cape Team. The company said that the results of the quarter ended June 30, 2025 include an income of Rs 473.03 crore from the Holding Company’s cricket franchise (“Sunrisers Hyderabad” and “Sunrisers Eastern Cape”) and an expenditure of Rs 256.09 crore. Sun TV network operates satellite television channels in seven languages – Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bangla, Hindi and Marathi – and broadcasts FM radio stations across India. On Friday, the shares of Sun TV Network Limited were trading at Rs 552.80 per share on BSE, which is 1.34 percent less than the previous closed price.
