The Government of Chhattisgarh, led by Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, has declared skill development not just a scheme, but a concrete mission to make the youth self -reliant and employable.
Will skill become a job guarantee now?
Chief Minister Shri Sai clearly said at the review meeting of the Skill Development Department at the Ministry of Nawa Raipur, “Now not just training, results are needed.” Their focus is clear-travel from training to employment and self-employment. The intention of the government is that every training program should bring economic changes in the lives of the youth.
Which schemes will come to bring changes?
The major schemes reviewed by the Chief Minister include:
- Chief Minister Skill Development Scheme (MKVY)
- Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana 4.0 (PMKVY)
- Prime minister Vishwakarma Yojana
- Need Nella Nar Yojana (For former Naxalite youth)
- PM Janman Yojana (Pvtg for youth)
Through these schemes, training of 549 youths, and training in 382 rehabilitation centers so far.
Facial Scanning: Transparency or Monitoring?
Under a revolutionary step from 1 July 2025, the presence of facial scanning is being recorded. This will not only stop forgery, but will also improve the quality and tracking of training.
Will Global Forum be available from ‘Kaushal Tihar 2025’?
‘Kaushal Tihar 2025’ in the state will be held in two phases at the district and state level. It will have competitions in 10 major trades, such as:
- Automobile technology
- Health and Social Care
- Computer
- Mobile technician
- Graphic design
- Electronics
- Plumbing
- Bricling
- Refrigeration and AC
Out of these, the winners will get an opportunity to represent the country in World Skills 2026 (Shanghai), not only trophy and employment, but also India Skills 2025.
Alliance with private sector: Will this strategy improve youth?
The government has signed MoUs from well -known institutions like Nandi Foundation, Mahindra & Mahindra, so that quality -based training can be given effectively in the state.
What is the purpose of organizing Kaushal Tihar 2025?
The outline of organizing ‘Kaushal Tihar 2025’ was also presented in the meeting, which aims to raise awareness of skills among the youth. This competition will be held in district and state level two phases, in which participants of two age groups-22 years and more than 22 years will participate. The competition includes 10 major trade automobile technology, bricling, renewable Energy Health and Social Care, Plumbing and Heating, Electrical Installs, Electronics Field Technician, Computer, Mobile Phone Technician, Graphic Design Technology/Desktop Publishing and Refrigeration and Air conditioning.
Two winners of each trade will be selected at the district level
At the district level, two winners from each trade and age group will be selected, who will participate in the state level competition. State level winners will be provided awards, trophies and employment opportunities. He will be designed for the regional and national competitions of India Skills 2025, from where the selected participants will represent India in ‘World Skills 2026’, Shanghai (China). Chief Minister Shri Sai said that skill development schemes should be linked to the livelihood, self -reliance and future creation of youth. He instructed to make continuous efforts in this direction.
