A sensation spread in the village after the reality of a person who has done worship and astrology for the last one year in a Shiva temple in Dadri village of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.
The one who described himself as ‘Krishna’, he actually turned out to be Mohammad Qasim from Bihar, whose father Mohammad Abbas is a cleric in Koli Raipur village of Sitamarhi. This was revealed when some villagers doubted his activities and demanded him to show Aadhaar card. The truth came to light when the police was called when the documents were not shown.
In disguise as a monk for 20 years, the name changed and conversion
During the police interrogation, the accused said that he came to Uttar Pradesh about 20 years ago. First stayed in some temples of Delhi and learned worship and Sanskrit shloka while staying there. He dug the name ‘Krishna’ on his hand and made his name Krishna and father’s name Santosh and made it to the temples. Qasim says that he has converted to Hinduism and has been learning Dharmakarma by living between saints and saints for years. In this temple of Dadri, he had been worshiping as a priest for the last one year.
The mob beat up hostage, police rescued
When the villagers suspected and asked for the documents from him, he started to defraud. On this, some people took him hostage and assaulted him. Police reached the spot on information and took Kasim into custody and took him to the police station. Inspector Daurala Suman Kumar Singh said that the accused Qasim’s son Mohammad Abbas, village Koli Raipur, District Sitamarhi, is a resident of Bihar. At present, the accused is being verified and Bihar Police has also been informed. Due to lack of Aadhaar card, it will be identified with fingerprint.
Crowds used to remain in the temple: only women used to see hands
According to the villagers, Kasim used to claim to reveal the future by looking at her hand like an astrologer with worship in the temple. The special thing was that he used to see only women’s hands. This increased the number and movement of women in the temple significantly. This was the reason that he did not come under suspicion for so long. When some villagers opposed it and asked for documents, then the whole story came out.
Story like film screenplay, similarity with the character of ‘Jolly LLB’
The interesting thing in this whole matter is that its story is very much similar to the terrorist character ‘Mohammad Iqbal Qadri’ of the film Jolly LLB. In the film, the terrorist Ramakrishna is hidden in the temple of Mathura by becoming Saraswat and also confuses people by chanting in the court. Similarly, Kasim also impressed the villagers by chanting scriptures and shlokas. He also used to tell the dates of the fasting festival correctly, which did not suspect anyone.
Police filed a case, intelligence team engaged in investigation
At present, a case has been registered against the accused. He is being detailed by the police and intelligence agencies are also interrogating the matter. According to the police, if the documents had already been investigated, it could have been busted long ago. The police is also investigating whether there is a deep conspiracy behind it, or it is a personal matter related to religious conversion.
