Baba Vishwanath temple: The new grand Dham, inaugurated on 13 December 2021, has written a new chapter of religious tourism along with the conservation of cultural heritage. In four years, more than 26 crore devotees have attended Baba’s court. Due to all-round development of Kashi by Yogi Adityanath government, expansion of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham, facilities, ease and security, Baba’s devotees have made a record of attendance in the court of Mahadev. These include not only nationals but also a large number of foreign tourists, who are attracted by the spiritual energy of Kashi and the attraction of the grand Dham.
World class arrangements for the convenience of devotees
Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Chief Executive Officer of the Trust, Vishwa Bhushan Mishra said that good arrangements have been made for the facilities of the devotees in the temple. Facilities like German hangers to protect from cold, rain and scorching sun in summer, mats, coolers, drinking water to protect the feet from burning in summer, free wheel chairs for the elderly, disabled and handicapped people in Saavan, golf cart, canopy during summer, ORS, medical arrangements etc. have made it easier for the Shiva devotees to reach Baba’s doorstep.
Grand expansion of 3 thousand to 5 lakh square feet
After the expansion of the Kashi Vishwanath Dham complex from about three thousand square feet to a huge area of about five lakh square feet, Sanatanis are flocking to the Dham for darshan. After the inauguration of the new-grand Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham on 13 December 2021, the number of Shiva devotees attending Baba’s court has increased manifold.
