Method of offering Arghya to the moon on Karwa Chauth (Karwa Chauth Chand Arghya Vidhi)
Women must listen to the story before offering Arghya to the moon on Karva Chauth. A plate should be prepared for the worship of Moon God. An urn should be kept in the plate. Silver coin and Akshat should also be put in the Kalash. Roli, rice, sieve, flour lamp and sweets should be kept along with it. When the moon rises, the moon god should be seen through a sieve. Then one should look at the husband through the same filter. Then Arghya should be offered to Moon God. The lamp should be shown. Sweets should be offered. Then Aarti of Moon God should be performed. After this, seven coins should be thrown at the moon. After the puja, the fast should be broken by drinking water from the hands of the husband.
