Do not make this 1 mistake after breaking the fast
The one mistake that women make after breaking the Karva Chauth fast is drinking a lot of water at once. No matter how thirsty you are, drinking water all at once is harmful for health. We also talked to senior dietitian Surbhi Pareek regarding this. He told that drinking water together can disturb your GI (Glycemic Index). Not only this, some women may also have the problem of stomach ache. In such a situation, after breaking the fast, it is better to take a gap and drink water little by little.
Drink these drinks instead of water
Experts say that due to not drinking water the whole day, the hydration level in the body reduces significantly. Due to this electrolyte imbalance occurs. To bring it into balance, you can consume lemon water and coconut water instead of plain water. These drinks will help in balancing sodium and potassium. It will also provide hydration and energy to the body. After this you can also consume buttermilk. However, do not take these in very large quantities, rather consume them little by little.
Eating too much heavy food can also be harmful
Surbhi Pareek told that, not only water but also heavy food can harm health. Therefore, after breaking the fast, one should avoid eating fried or spicy food. Instead, start with light food. Like porridge, sprouts, fruits or pulses. After some time, eat things of your choice. But definitely pay attention to the quantity of food. Otherwise, complaints like acidity, gas and constipation may occur.
