New Delhi: Shubman Gill-led India have made three changes to their playing XI for the fourth Test against England at Old Trafford in Manchester. Hit by multiple injuries ahead of the must-win Test match, India have handed a debut to Haryana pacer Anshul Kamboj, who was earlier added to the squad as a cover after Arshdeep Singh was ruled out of the 4th Test due to a hand injury.
Kamboj has come in place of pacer Akash Deep, who is missing the fourth Test due to a groin niggle. Meanwhile, all-rounder Nitish Reddy who was ruled out of the remainder of the Test series after suffering a knee injury earlier this week, has been replaced by Shardul Thakur, a like-to-like replacement for the all-rounder.
India have also dropped senior batter Karun Nair from the XI after his inconsistent returns in the first three matches, with Sai Sudharsan taking the right-hander’s place in the XI.
