Kartik Aaryan is keeping his film slate diverse. After wrapping up Sameer Vidhwans’ Tu Meri Main Tera and Anurag Basu’s yet-untitled love story, the actor is gearing up to begin work on the creature comedy Nagzilla , directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, which promises thrilling entertainment with quirky humor, drama, and a refreshing storyline.
Kartik Aaryan to headline a zombie thriller
According to a report by Pinkvilla, Kartik is in advanced discussions with Shershaah director Vishnuvardhan for a feature film. A source revealed, “Kartik Aaryan has been keen to do a zombie film for a while now, and that’s when Vishnuvardhan came into the picture. The filmmaker has developed a unique zombie film, and Kartik loved the world he created. He has given his green signal to the project and is tentatively looking to take the film on floors in July 2026.”
Although Kartik has approved the project, the paperwork is still pending. The source further added, “July 2026 is still some time away, but as of now, the Vishnuvardhan film is tentatively marked in Kartik’s calendar. Meanwhile, he continues to read other scripts and meet filmmakers for future collaborations. Kartik loves spending time on set and is working closely with his team to lock a strong line-up of films.”

While details remain under wraps, the Vishnuvardhan directorial is reportedly a zombie saga infused with thriller elements. On the work front, Kartik is expected to finish shooting for Anurag Basu’s directorial by November 2025, after which he will move on to Nagzilla and Captain India. Additionally, he is in talks for two more films, though details are being kept confidential.
