Kartik Aaryan all set to play Don Hussain Ustara in Vishal Bharadwaj’s next?
According to the official X (formerly known as Twitter) social media post of film journalist Rahul Raut, Kartik Aaryan will be next seen in Vishal Bhardwaj’s upcoming new movie. The film in question will be directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Kartik will play the role of Hussain Ustara, a fearless don who stood against the underworld’s most influential and wanted person, Dawood Ibrahim. The film, which is yet to be titled, will go on floors from September 2024. It is stated that it’s the same film that Vishal Bhardwaj was keen on making with Irrfan Khan and Deepika Padukone. However, due to some unknown reason, the project didn’t materialize. Back then, the film was named Sapna Didi. It is reported that the old script has been tweaked and will now be told from Hussain Ustara’s perspective. While Kartik will begin preparing for his character Hussain Ustara, makers are currently brainstorming who to cast in the role of Ashraf Khan aka Sapna Didi. Talking about Kartik Aaryan, he is all set to hit the theatre screens once again with Kabir Khan’s Chandu Champion. He is currently shooting for Anees Bazmee’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. In fact, he recently finished the first schedule of the horror-comedy genre along with actress Triptii Dimri. Rumours are also rife that Kartik may play the male lead in Aashiqui 3. He has also signed Karan Johar’s next film however nothing related to the said film is out in the news.
