The name of the woman resident of Budikote village is Usha. It is being said that she was fed up with her husband’s harassment and daily fights at home. For this reason he took this dreadful step. Usha jumped into a pond near the village with her two sons, 6-year-old Nitish and 5-year-old Anish. The children started drowning as soon as they fell into the water. When the people present nearby saw this, they immediately ran to save them.

Due to the promptness of the local people, Usha was taken out alive, but unfortunately both the children could not be saved. He died due to drowning in water. Later, the bodies of both the children were taken out of the pond and sent to the government hospital in Bangarapet for legal action.
