New Delhi: Karisma Kapoor’s children, Samaira and Kiaan, have approached the Delhi High Court demanding a share in their late father Sunjay Kapur’s property.
In the suit filed by the two children, they have claimed that their stepmother, Priya Sachdev, has forged Sunjay’s will. They say that the will allegedly made by their father is not a legal document but is forged and fabricated.
Karisma Kapoor’s children appeal to the Delhi HC
They argued that for this reason, the original documents of the alleged will were shown to them. Therefore, the children requested the court to give them a copy of the document. Apart from this, Karisma Kapoor’s children also requested the court to restrain Priya Sachdev from executing the will until the matter is resolved.
As per PTI, the plea likely to be heard on September 10 contests Sunjay Kapur’s will, stating that neither he, nor Priya Kapur, nor anyone else had ever referred to such a document. It further alleges that Priya’s actions clearly indicate the will was forged, also naming her associates Dinesh Agarwal and Nitin Sharma in the complaint.
Sanjay Kapur’s sister criticised Priya Sachdev
Recently, Sunjay Kapur’s sister, Mandhira Kapur also claimed that her mother was forced to sign legal papers by several people, including Kapoor’s wife, Priya Sachdev. She told Republic Bharat, “They are not showing us the papers that they made her sign in these 13 days? My mother was forced to sign papers behind closed doors and this happened not once but twice.” She then added, “I was knocking on the door. She was very upset.”
Mandhira further said, “Actually, there were two doors, one inside and one outside. So she could not hear me. The fact is that she had signed some papers during her mourning. She was in deep mourning. She came to me and said, ‘I don’t know which papers I signed and since then we have been asking and getting no answer. So, what are you hiding from us? I think the truth will come out at some point in time.”
