Actress Kareena Kapoor shared a sweet and playful birthday message for Kriti Sanon, while also revealing the reason behind her delayed wish for the actress.
Taking to Instagram, Kareena posted a picture with Kriti and explained that she missed wishing her on the actual day because she was busy enjoying pizza.
“Happy birthday Kriti. A day late as I was busy eating my pizza on your birthday. Sending you love and many more hits… Big hug always,” Kareena wrote while tagging Kriti.
The monochrome picture shared by Kareena showed the two actresses sitting together and enjoying pizza. The image appeared to be from their 2024 heist comedy film Crew, which featured Kareena, Kriti and Tabu in lead roles.
Kareena and Kriti developed a warm bond while working together on Crew. Kriti has previously spoken about her admiration for Kareena and said she was excited to share screen space with an actress she had admired for years.
The Bareilly Ki Barfi actress had also shared that despite Kareena being a senior performer, she never felt like a newcomer while working with her on the sets.
Kriti Sanon celebrated her birthday on June 27 and received wishes from several fans and members of the film industry. Actors including Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh, Jackky Bhagnani and Nupur Sanon extended their greetings to the actress.
Kriti’s rumoured boyfriend, UK-based businessman Kabir Bahia, also shared birthday wishes for her on social media. He posted a selfie with Kriti along with a “Happy K dayyy” message and later shared another picture of the two together on a yacht. Kriti reshared both posts on her Instagram Stories.
