Kareena Kapoor and Mira Rajput had plenty to talk about when they came together for the latest season of What Women Want. From rumours about Mira and Shahid Kapoor expanding their family to Kareena’s rather unexpected description of herself, their conversation had its fair share of laughs. A promo released on Thursday gives a glimpse of their easy-going exchange, with the full episode set to drop on Friday.
One of the more interesting moments came when about the silliest rumour she’d heard about herself. Mira didn’t take long to answer. Apparently, there have been whispers about her and Shahid having another child. Kareena seemed to entertain the possibility, asking, “You might?”
But Mira was quick to put that speculation to rest. She made it clear that they were “done” having children.
The conversation then took a flattering turn when Mira called Kareena a Bollywood star. Kareena, however, had a rather different description for herself. Calling herself a ‘wannabe Bollywood wife’, she left Mira smiling.
There was also some practical advice for Kareena. Mira spoke about friends whose husbands often talk about buying them things but don’t always follow through. Her solution? Make a list of everything they want at the beginning of the year. That way, there’s little room for confusion later. Kareena seemed sold on the idea and laughed that she would definitely give it a try.
The warmth between the two was evident even before the promo arrived. Kareena had shared a picture with Mira from the show’s sets, describing her as an ‘absolutely warm and lovely’ guest. Mira reshared the post, thanked Kareena for having her on the show and also shared a few pictures from their time together.
For those keeping track of their personal lives, Kareena and Shahid dated for around four years, between 2004 and 2007. They eventually went their separate ways, with Kareena marrying Saif Ali Khan in 2012 and Shahid tying the knot with Mira in 2015.
Kareena and Saif have two sons, Taimur and Jehangir, while Shahid and Mira are parents to daughter Misha and son Zain.
