Actor and television host Karan Wahi penned a heartfelt birthday note for actress Jennifer Winget, celebrating her new beginning and expressing gratitude for their friendship spanning more than a decade.
Karan shared a series of pictures with Jennifer on Instagram from her wedding celebrations and wrote a warm message marking the occasion.
“Dearest Jenno @jenniferwinget1 The celebrations are over but this new beginning of urs be as beautiful as you are,” Karan wrote.
“I had to post this picture because how can my not happen #iykyk To a girl i have known for so long that eternity feels less Thank you for being you I am just blessed we crossed paths and stayed put,” he added.
The carousel featured candid moments of Karan and Jennifer, including pictures from the wedding celebrations. In one photograph, Jennifer posed with folded hands while Karan smiled and gave a thumbs-up. Another showed the two striking goofy poses, while a video captured them dancing together.
Karan also shared pictures of Jennifer with her husband William from their Haldi ceremony.
Karan and Jennifer have shared a close friendship for more than a decade. The two first worked together in the popular medical drama “Dill Mill Gayye”, where they played Dr Siddhant Modi and Dr Riddhima Gupta.
The actors later reunited on screen after nearly 14 years for the web series “Raisinghani vs Raisinghani”. They have often spoken about their close bond, which has also been the subject of relationship rumours.
Reports had previously claimed that Karan and Jennifer were engaged and planning to marry. Karan dismissed the reports on Instagram, calling them “free PR” and referring to the “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani” line, “Some bonds are greater than love.”
Jennifer recently married her partner, William Ishmael, in an intimate Christian ceremony in the UK.
