Karan Patel, Anita Hassanandani Reunite After Nearly a Decade, Bring Back ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ Nostalgia

Television actors and longtime friends Karan Patel and Anita Hassanandani are set to reunite on screen nearly a decade after their popular association with Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.

The actors will appear as guests on the premiere episode of Indian Game Show, hosted by Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiya. The episode will feature the two friends and former co-stars taking part in a series of games and challenges, offering fans a nostalgic reunion filled with humour and friendly banter.

Talking about sharing the screen with Patel again, Hassanandani said their longstanding friendship made the experience particularly enjoyable.

“One of the best parts about being on Indian Game Show was getting paired with Karan,” she said, adding that their familiarity resulted in plenty of friendly banter and made the challenges more entertaining.

Hassanandani also praised hosts Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiya for creating a lively atmosphere on the show. She said the episode would feature unexpected twists, laughter and plenty of entertainment.

For Patel, the appearance felt less like a professional assignment and more like spending time with close friends. He said being around Bharti and Harsh provided a sense of comfort and familiarity, making him excited to accept the invitation.

Patel said the shoot involved plenty of laughter, catching up and shared moments, adding that he expected viewers to enjoy the “madness, fun, and surprises” featured in the episode.

Patel and Hassanandani previously worked together in Ekta Kapoor’s television drama Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. Patel played the lead character Raman Bhalla, while Hassanandani portrayed Shagun Arora, Raman’s former wife and one of the show’s central characters.

Their professional association eventually developed into a close friendship, making their upcoming appearance together a reunion for both the actors and fans of the popular television series.
