Shehnaaz Gill’s Punjabi film Ikk Kudi was released in theatres last Friday, and as expected, it is getting a mixed to positive response from the masses.
Owing to Shehnaaz’s popularity in the Punjabi and Hindi markets, Ikk Kudi has been getting a good response from the audience in theatres. Comedian-actor Kapil Sharma has now given a shoutout to Ikk Kudi and praised Shehnaaz for her performance.

Kapil Sharma took to his Instagram story and shared the promo of Ikk Kudi shared by Shehnaaz Gill. He penned a note that read, “Hearing so many good reviews about the film #IkkKudi and especially your performance, Shehnaaz Gill. Proud of you, kudiye. Can’t wait to watch it.”
Let us tell you, Shehnaaz Gill has been getting a lot of praise for her performance in Ikk Kudi. Directed by Amarjit Singh Saron, the film also stars Sukhi Chahal, Baljinder Darapuri and others in key roles.
Before the release, Shehnaaz Gill had an interaction with Zoom, where she opened up about the success. She said, “I’ve not learnt anything. I feel I haven’t done anything yet. Wait till Ikk Kudi comes out, then we will see. I have a lot of work to do still. Success, fame, yeh toh naam hai hi nahi [These are just names]. I still have to make a name for myself. I haven’t become Shah Rukh Khan that I can say I’m a successful person. Shah Rukh Khan can say that, ‘I am a successful person.’ Salman Khan can say that I’m a successful person. I can’t say that.”
The actress further added, “Everything of ours is judged. So is theirs, but ours is judged more because we haven’t reached anywhere yet. We need to reach there first and then we need to cover up all those things. Even if there’s a mistake, you get an apology because you’ve achieved so much that people love you. That love I’ve still not got. I still have time to achieve that.”
