Parul Gupta has shared the method of making semolina pudding on his Instagram. List of the material you need to make semolina pudding-

  • Semolina – 1 cup
  • Ghee – 1 cup of ghee
  • Sugar – 3/4 cup (as per taste)
  • Besan-1 teaspoon
  • Water – 2 cups
  • Raisins – 2 tablespoons
  • Cashew – 2 tablespoons
  • Almond-3 tablespoon
  • Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp (special thing)
  • Saffron

Recipe

First of all add half a cup of ghee in a pan. Add all dry fruits to it and roast it. Then remove it in a separate plate. After this, add a little ghee and swollen and fry it till it turns brown on a low flame. Soo -roasting, both the taste and fragrance of the halwa increases.

Add one teaspoon of gram flour to it and fry it well. Frying semolina and gram flour will take 7-8 minutes.

Boil water and sugar in a separate pan so that the sugar dissolves completely. After this, add cardamom powder and saffron.

When the semolina turns light brown, slowly add sugar solution and keep stirring continuously so that the lumps do not fall. After this, add chopped dry fruits to it. Cook it for 5 minutes.

Put the remaining ghee back into the pudding. This makes the pudding even more tasty. The semolina pudding does not dry up due to gram flour and later ghee.

  • Take care while frying the semolina, so that it does not burn. Therefore, always fry the semolina and gram flour on light flame and continuously.
  • The amount of sugar can increase or decrease according to your choice.
  • Do not forget to pour cardamom powder at all, this makes Halwa special.
  • Do not forget to pour one teaspoon of gram flour in the pudding.
  • After making the pudding, add ghee to the last.
