The time from morning to 11:48 will be considered the most auspicious. This means that you will have only a few hours in the morning to perform Kanya Puja on the date of Ashtami because the date of Navami is falling after 12 o’clock in the day.

Why is Kanya Puja special?

- Number of girls: It is considered auspicious to invite at least 9 girls for Kanya Puja. Make sure to seat a small child (Batuk Bhairav) along with you.

- Blessings: Wash the feet of the girls, feed them and take their blessings by giving gifts as per your capacity.
