Kanwar Yatra: Railways Announce Special Trains From Delhi To Haridwar Till August 13; Check Schedule

Kanwar Yatra: Amid the ongoing Kanwar Yatra, the railways have begun operating a special train from Delhi’s Shahdara to Haridwar via Meerut City Station.

Apart from this, the train from Delhi to Saharanpur has also been extended to Haridwar to manage the rush. The authority, while providing details, stated that the operation of special trains will significantly benefit the devotees of Delhi and nearby cities.

Train To Operate Till August 13

While providing details, the officials stated that train number 04313 will operate from July 30 to August 13. The special train will depart Delhi at 10.25 pm and will arrive at Meerut station at 11.52 pm. After a brief halt, the special train will further depart for Haridwar, where it will arrive at 4.25 am. Earlier on Thursday, the train departed Delhi’s Shahdara with a delay of one hour and 11 minutes.

The authority stated that train number 04314 will operate between Haridwar and Delhi from July 31 to August 14. It will depart Haridwar at 3:30 PM, reach Meerut at 6:48 PM, and reach Shahdara at 8:48 PM. Apart from this, Train Number 64557, which runs from Delhi to Saharanpur, has been extended to Haridwar.

Passengers Advised To Follow Schedule

The officials stated that the train will also run regularly between July 30 and August 13. Apart from this, train number 64558 will run from Haridwar to Delhi from July 31 to August 14. The passengers have been advised to stay updated and plan their travel accordingly to avoid inconveniences.

Earlier, the passengers in Meerut had to face inconveniences as buses were shifted from Bhainsali bus stand and operated from Sohrab Gate bus stand. Kanwadiyas carrying Ganga water from Haridwar pass in front of the Bhainsali bus stand while going from Begumpul towards Delhi Road in Meerut city.
