Kangana Ranaut Says Govt Should Punish Miscreants For Leaking Papers, Asks Citizens To Take Responsibility Of Own Actions

Kangana Ranaut, BJP MP and Bollywood actress, had recently reacted to the Cockroach Janta Party-led Chalo Sansad March over alleged exam paper leaks. After attending the monsoon session of Parliament, the actress interacted with the media. During this interaction, she stated that one cannot arm-twist the government into deciding who to sack and who to keep. And now, she has shared a story on her Instagram handle, stating that the Government must punish miscreants for leaking papers. At the same time, she asked citizens to take accountablity of their own actions.

Taking to her Instagram stories,  reposted a video of Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju talking about 13 people who were arrested and sent to the jail after reports of the NEET paper leak surfaced.

While reposting the video, the actress also wrote, “Littering, spitting, stealing from temples, leaking papers for monetary benefits, damaging public transports, embarrassing lack of integrity and civic sense, yes government must punish the miscreants but dear fellow citizens for ones shall we also take responsibility/ accountability for our own actions? Let’s face it we as people need more civic sense and accountability.”

For the unversved, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijuju revealed how the government immediately acted after reports suggested that the NEET paper was leaked. During a media interaction, he said, “On the NEET examination, the Prime Minister said that the government acted immediately after reports of the paper leak surfaced, and 13 people were arrested and sent to jail.”

He further stated that NEET re-examintion was given priority, conducted successfully and the results were declared without any delay. According to him, it was done to ensure that students’ future was not affected. “The Prime Minister also said that strict steps have been taken to prevent such paper leaks in the future,” he added.
