Mumbai: Actress and former Bigg Boss contestant Kamya Punjabi, known for her sharp observations, has once again weighed in on the reality show’s latest drama.
Her comments follow a recent episode where contestant Scout nominated Love Gill, a person he had previously claimed to consider his sister, leading to widespread surprise among co-contestants.
Punjabi took to X (formerly Twitter) to express her views, stating, “Behen maana tha na? Massage khatam toh rishta bhi khatam? Nomination aate hi ‘tu kaun aur main kaun’ ho gaya! Convenient rishte ka convenient end. Ek daant kya padi, saari family wali feeling gayab ho gayi.” Her remarks highlight the transient nature of relationships often seen within the high-pressure environment of the Bigg Boss house, suggesting that such bonds are formed out of convenience.
This incident comes shortly after Scout was grilled by host Rohit Shetty and his girlfriend, Kaashvi, during ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ over his growing closeness to Love Gill. Kaashvi had even accused Love of ‘trapping’ Scout, sparking a backlash from netizens who criticized her for making what they considered defamatory remarks. Following the controversy, Kaashvi issued an apology on Instagram, acknowledging that her words were insensitive and that she could have expressed herself better, emphasizing her intention was to hold Scout accountable, not to target Love Gill.
