Kalbhairav Dev is worshiped during Nisha period on Kalashtami. In view of this, Kalashtami fast of Phalgun month will be observed on 09 February.
Kalashtami auspicious time(Kalashtami 2026 Subh Muhurat)
On this day Brahma Muhurta will be from 05:21 AM to 06:12 AM. Vijay Muhurta will be from 02:26 pm to 03:10 pm. Twilight Muhurta will be from 06:04 PM to 06:30 PM. Nishita Muhurta will be from 12:09 PM to 01:01 AM.
Kalashtami Puja Vidhi
- On the day of Kalashtami, take bath first thing in the morning and wear clean clothes.
- After this, light a lamp at the place of worship or go to the temple of Kalbhairav.
- Offer incense, lamp, flowers and fruits to Lord Kalbhairav.
- Meditate on Lord Kalabhairava.
- Chant the mantra Om Kalabhairavaya Namah.
- Keep fast on this day.
- Do not keep the idol or picture of Kalabhairava in the house.
- Worship only by going to the temple.
- Make sure to feed the black dog on this day.
