Kalamkaval: Mammootty Unveils New Gritty Poster, Fans Scream ‘Face Of Indian Cinema’

Mammootty’s upcoming film Kalamkaval, directed by debutant Jithin K Jose, has been officially announced, and the superstar has now unveiled a brand-new poster.

The film has already generated excitement among fans, who are eager to watch Mammootty in yet another powerful avatar. Known for effortlessly balancing mass entertainers and performance-driven roles, the actor’s intense look in the poster promises a gripping narrative. With its intriguing tagline and striking visuals, Kalamkaval is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

Mammootty shares new poster

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Mammootty dropped the poster of his much-awaited film, captioning it, “#Kalamkaval In Cinemas Soon.”

 

 

The first-look poster presents the actor in an intense and rugged avatar, wearing an innocent yet mischievous smile. The film’s title Kalamkaval is boldly written in Malayalam, accompanied by the intriguing tagline, “The Venom Beneath.”

Fans react to the new poster

Excitement is already in the air as fans gear up to see the megastar back on the big screen. One user commented, “Face of Indian Cinema,” while another exclaimed, “The King is coming.” Another enthusiastic fan wrote, “Yes, he’s back-#Kalamkaval on the way!”

 

About the Film

Kalamkaval is expected to showcase Mammootty in a grey-shaded role, raising curiosity about the character. Actor Vinayakan also features in a pivotal role. Alongside, another striking poster was unveiled, featuring a silhouette shot of Mammootty with the tagline “The Other Side of Kalamkaval.”

Director Jithin K Jose, who previously co-wrote Kurup (2021) starring Dulquer Salmaan, has scripted the film along with Jishnu Sreekumar. Meanwhile, Mammootty’s last release, Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse, could not perform as strongly at the box office as expected.
