Kajol On Ibrahim Ali Khan, Other Star Kids Being Trolled: It’s Like Do-Or-Die Situation For Them

Bollywood actress Kajol, who is set to play the on-screen mother of newcomer Ibrahim Ali Khan in Sarzameen, recently shared her thoughts on star kids facing constant scrutiny online.

She pointed out that it’s become increasingly difficult for debutants, regardless of their background, as people have grown less kind. However, she praised the new generation of actors for being well-prepared to handle both the good and the bad. Kajol also advised them to continuously reinvent themselves.

Kajol On Ibrahim Ali Khan, Other Star Kids Being Trolled

“Trolls will criticise you whether you have parents who are well-known or not. But we listen to them a little more when they’re talking about somebody whose parents are well-known, maybe. “We had that chance to grow; we were given that time, or maybe enough films, to grow and to become who we are. Today it’s almost like a do-or-die situation for them, and for this, they’re very well prepared. I have to give them that. But we can be a little kinder,” Kajol told PTI.

The Maa actress believes that constant reinvention is essential for an actor’s growth.”For actors, it’s necessary to understand that you have to unlearn everything that you have learnt earlier and keep doing new things, whatever they may be.”

Acknowledging the challenges involved, she praised today’s generation of actors for aiming for long-term success not just through their performances, but by exploring the showbiz beyond acting.

Ibrahim Ali Khan To Star In Sarzameen

Ibrahim, son of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, failed to impress the critics and audiences with his debut film Naadaniyan. Now, he will be seen in Dharma-backed patriotic film, Sarzameen. It stars Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran in key roles.
