As a close friend from the industry, Kajol is happy for the big wins of Karan Johar, Shah Rukh Khan and cousin Rani Mukerji at the 71st National Award.
Taking to her Instagram stories, the Maa actress penned a heartfelt message to the trio and celebrated their individual victories in a special way. Johar’s directorial Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani won Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment and Best Choreography for Dhindhora Baje Re. Kajol wrote, “Wholesome entertainment has your name written all over it! Congratulations.”
Kajol acknowledged the win of Shah Rukh Khan in the best category for Jawan, which marked his first National Film Award. The actress said, “Congratulations on your big win.” Kajol also appreciated her cousin Rani Mukerji’s win as Best Actress award for her performance in Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway. Kajol wrote, “Your performance was pure fire and heart. Congratulations on the win.”
