What is required to make perfume at home?

Making perfume at home is not as difficult as people think. For this you need only 3 important things. The first is base oil, for which you can take jojoba oil or grapeseed oil. The second is essential oils, for which you can choose any fragrance of your choice, lavender, rose, patchouli, citrus and vanilla are the best options. The third is avovin or perfume alcohol. If you want, you can also add 5ml distilled water if you want the fragrance to be light.

Three layers of essential oils

Top Notes- This is the first fragrance that you feel immediately after applying the perfume. It flies in 15-30 minutes. Usually contain citrus or light fragrance oils, such as lemon, orange, bergamot.

Middle Notes – Felt after the top notes. This is the main part of the perfume and lasts for 24 hours. Usually contain floral and mild spice oils. Like lavender, rose, jasmine and rosewood

Base Notes – This is the last one and lasts for a long time. It brings depth and stability to the perfume. Typically contain deep, musky and woody oils, such as vanilla, musk, sandalwood and patchouli.

How to make perfume?

The balance of top, middle and base notes in perfume should be correct. For this, mix top notes 30%, middle notes 50% and base notes 20%. Now add 1520ml perfume alcohol and add a little water. Close the bottle and shake it well. This helps in spreading the fragrance. After this let the perfume set. Keep the bottle in a cool, dark place for 4872 hours. Gradually the fragrance will become even better.
