JSW Cement IPO Details & Subscription

JSW Cement Limited’s IPO was opened on 7 August and closed on 11 August. By the last day, this issue was 7.77 times subscribed. The company had fixed the price band of the IPO at Rs 139-147 per share. According to CRISIL report, JSW is the largest producer of ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS) in the country, which FY25 has 84% market share. It is an eco-friendly product prepared from a slag made during steel production.

JSW Cement IPO GMP and Prior to Listing

Gray Market Premium (GMP) was at Rs 4.5, indicating that the share listing could be around Rs 151.5. GMP has seen a decline in the last 12 sessions, Max has come down from Rs 19 to Rs 4.5. According to Harshal Dasani of Invasst PMS, the market sentiment is careful and that is why the listing premium remained limited. He made a profit of about Rs 78 crore from SBI’s pre-iPO Stek Sale, which shows institutional confidence.
