The much-awaited Jolly LLB 3 trailer launch has sparked excitement and debate – will it happen in Kanpur or Meerut? The film, directed by Subhash Kapoor, pits Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi against each other in a battle of the Jollys, reviving the popular courtroom drama franchise.
While Akshay Kumar is rooting for Kanpur, Arshad Warsi is backing Meerut, leaving fans eager to see where the official launch finally takes place.
The third installment of the Jolly LLB series brings together the two Jollys from the earlier films, clashing in court to the dismay of Judge Tripathi, once again played by Saurabh Shukla.
Backed by Star Studio18, and produced by Alok Jain and Ajit Andhare, with co-producers Naren Kumar and Dimple Kharbanda, the film also stars Saurabh Shukla, Huma Qureshi, Amrita Rao, and Gajraj Rao. The film’s theatrical release is on September 19, 2025.
The franchise has a strong legacy. The first Jolly LLB (2013) featured Arshad Warsi, Boman Irani, Amrita Rao, and Saurabh Shukla, focusing on the fight against judicial corruption. The sequel, Jolly LLB 2 (2017), introduced Akshay Kumar as Jagdishwar Mishra, with Huma Qureshi and Annu Kapoor, tackling fake encounters and police corruption.
