John Cena, Cody Rhodes Defeat Drew McIntrye, Logan Paul In Starry Tag-Team Match

Cena reassured fans that he isn’t going to back down as he is likely to go ‘all guns blazing’. His speech was interrupted by Logan Paul as he made fun of Cena’s babyface. Cena and Paul demanded a match with each other before Drew McIntyre attacked him from behind. However, the brawl was intercepted by Cody Rhodes. Later, a tag team match was set up between the pair.

WWE Smackdown Results: The MFTs vs Motor City Machine Guns

In the first tag team match of the eveing, The MFTs secured a clean-win over the Motor City Machine Guns (MCMG). It required a superkick and a Tornado DDT from MCMG as The MFTs’ Talla chokeslammed Chris Sabin to claim a win for a win.

WWE SmackDown Results: Solo Sikoa vs Sami Zayn

Solo Sikoa started dominating the match against Sami, however, the latter responded back with equal power. With cheap shots from Tama Tonga and JC Mateo from the sidelines, Sikoa took back the control of the match. As Sikoa prepared for his final move, Sami was quick to block it and hit two back-to-back Suplexes. The MFTs interfered again, however, Sami managed to set things nicely for Solo as he secured a surprising win.

WWE SmackDown Results: Charlotte vs Chelsea Green

WWE Diva Superstar Charlotte Flair went against Chelsea Green in a singles match. Facing distractions from Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre, Charlotte was acing the match like a boss as she performed a series of chops and a deadly German Suplex. The match turned chaotic at one end with Green taking a cake into the ring. Seeing all this – Alexa Bliss intervened as she took down Green and her allies, which allowed Flair to put her opponent’s face first into the cake. Charlotte ended the match with her Signature move ‘Figure Eight’ for the win.

WWE SmackDown Results: Cody Rhodes & John Cena vs Drew McIntyre & Logan Paul

The most starry event of the night that ended in a disqualification of Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre. Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre were the ones to start the proceedings of the match with Rhodes performing a ‘Powerslam’ with Drew responding with ‘Glasgow Kiss’. Cody was unable to get Cena for some time, however, crowd’s “We want Cena” chants brought the WWE superstar into the match. Cena came in with a roar and began dominating, however Logan Paul’s took a low blow on Cena which was spotted by the referee.

Result: Cody Rhodes & John Cena won against Drew McIntyre & Logan Paul via DQ
