The teaser of Jo Jo, titled Caution 1, takes audiences to Jonnagiri, where a group of hopefuls sets out in search of diamonds believed to surface after rainfall.
Set against a rugged, drought-hit landscape, the film turns the dream of sudden wealth into an unlikely source of comedy.
As the group searches for precious stones, one man tries to flirt with a woman. Their hopes of striking it rich soon take a hit when an examiner dismisses their finds as ordinary stones.
While one man insists that their luck will eventually change, the woman shoots back with the blunt line, “Clean your own ass!” The exchange captures the teaser’s earthy humour and the characters’ unfiltered interactions.
Filmmaker and actor Tharun Bhascker praised the promo, calling it an “excellent teaser,” adding further momentum to the film’s promotions.
Presented by Deva Katta, Jo Jo is written and directed by Kiran Jay Kumar and produced by Vijay Krishna Lingamaneni under the Vijayam banner.
The story follows two penniless dreamers and a fearless young woman chasing a life-changing diamond, with romance, greed, betrayal and comic misadventures complicating their quest. Krishna Kamal plays Seenu, while Maahi Sri portrays Supraja.
With Caution 1, Jo Jo introduces a rustic romantic comedy in which the pursuit of fortune rarely goes according to plan.
