Every year, Lord Jemutavahana is worshiped in this fast, which is kept on the day of Ashwin Krishna Ashtami. This time Jitiya fast will be kept on 14 September. It is considered right to keep a fast from the eyes of health, but when you keep the Nirjala fast, you can feel weakness during this time. Some people start having an acidity problem due to empty stomach. In such a situation, care should be taken for the onset of the fast and food at the time of passion so that you can complete the fast with joy without any health problem.

After the beginning of Jitiya fast, nothing is eaten or drunk, so take care of the hydration of your body. Drink some healthy drinks like coconut water before the fast. This will also hydrate the body and will also provide nutrients, which will not make weakness.

Do not work too heavy

During the fast, there is a lot of work in the house, but try not to work like washing clothes, picking up very heavy things. This costs more energy and you can feel weakness due to lack of water. Do household chores with comfort, so that there is not much stress. Some people start having acidity problems when stress increases.

Avoid taking tea and coffee

Tea and coffee should not be taken before the fast starts. Both these drinks cause acid reflux, due to which you can have problems like chest irritation, sour belching during fasting. Tea-coffee also dehydrates the body (reduced water in the body), which can cause you more fatigue and weakness.

Keep fast food food right

Jitiya fast is left without eating and water for a long time, so do not eat too much heavy food in Paran. Try not to eat less spices and oil is not too much. Things with deep fry and spices can cause acid reflux as well as blotting (stomach heaviness). In this way, keeping small things in mind, you can fulfill the fast without becoming ill.
