Train services were disrupted in Jharkhand’s Seraikela-Kharswan district on Saturday after two goods trains derailed under the South Eastern Railway’s (SER) Adra division, officials confirmed.
The incident occurred in the early hours when two goods trains, moving in opposite directions, were crossing each other between Chandil and Nimdih stations. According to initial reports, a few wagons from one of the trains derailed and collided with the middle section of the other train, causing some of its wagons to derail as well. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
