Jewellery Stock Inches Higher As Company Repays Debt To 2 More Consortium Bank; Shares Jump 240% IN 3 Yrs

Shares of PC Jeweller remained focused during the intraday trade on Tuesday after the Delhi-based jewellery company announced clearing and repayment of all outstanding debt of two more banks.

With this, the company continues its goal to be debt-free by the second quarter of FY27; so far, it has fully repaid the outstanding debt owed to seven of the 14 consortium banks.

The jewellery stock continues the previous session’s momentum, opening in the green at Rs 9.70 as compared to last day’s closing of Rs 9.64. It escalated the momentum a bit to touch an intraday high at Rs 9.92, up nearly 3 per cent from last closing.

Earlier, in the last trading session, PC Jeweller shares ended in positive territory at Rs 9.64, up 4.10 per cent as compared to the previous close of Rs 9.26. Meanwhile, it’s 52 week high and low values stood at Rs 15.95 and Rs 7.45, respectively.

Share Price History: According to BSE Analytics, the small-cap jewellery stock has given a massive return in the long term, surging 280 per cent over five years. In the last three years, the stock surged over 240 per cent. However, it corrected 35.82 per cent in one year.

Shares allotted to promoter

The company has issued shares to promoter Balram Garg after converting 1.105 crore warrants into equity. This conversion, part of a preferential allotment from September 18, 2025, was completed after receiving a balance payment of Rs 14.9175 crore (Rs 13.50 per warrant). There are currently 5.5622222 crore warrants still awaiting conversion.

The closing auction session (CAS) for the equity cash segment began on Monday, with a new auction-based system for determining the closing price of eligible stocks, aimed at making the price discovery process more transparent and robust.

The 30-share BSE Sensex rose 97 points to 78,736.20. The 50-share NSE Nifty fell 173.95 points to 24,600.35.
