‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’, now in its third season, is set to air another entertaining episode this weekend. The upcoming episode, which is slated to premiere on July 12 on Netflix, will feature a star-studded lineup of OTT stars.
This includes actors Jaideep Ahlawat, Pratik Gandhi, Vijay Varma and Jeetendra Kumar. Adding a global touch, K-pop sensation Jackson Wang is also slated to appear on the show.
A new was released on Netflix’s Instagram account on Wednesday. In the teaser, Sharma humorously highlighted the intense personality of Jaideep Ahlawat, who was recently seen in ‘The Jewel Thief.’
“Jaideep bhai ki personality kisi rob daar police waale se kum nahi lagti (Jaideep brother’s personality does not seem lesser than any stern police officer),” he joked, which had the audience in splits.
When asked how Ahlawat proposed to his wife, he quipped, “Aapko lagta hai ek Jaat ko propose karna aata hoga? (Do you think a Jaat would know how to propose?)”, which delighted those present.
Pratik Gandhi, renowned for his role in ‘Scam 1992’, also joined the fun. The host teased him with the comment, “Pratik bhai ko dekh ke chehre se hi lagta hai dry state se aaye (Pratik brother’s face says that he is from a dry state),” sparking laughter across the set.
Jeetendra Kumar, and ‘Kota Factory’, spoke about how he handles being called “Jeetu Bhaiya (brother)” by female fans. “Main mana hi kar deta hoon. Bhaiyya bulaoge toh selfie nahi milegi. (I refuse. If they adresses me as a brother, they wouldn’t get a selfie),” he commented.
The global twist to the episode came with the inclusion of Jackson Wang, a K-pop idol who has a significant following worldwide. His appearance is expected to add an exciting dynamic to the show.
