Jee mains 2026 registration date: Preparations for JEE Mains 2026 have started, but registration dates have not been announced yet. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon start the application process. As soon as the registration is opened, the candidates will be able to apply on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The important thing is that JEE Mains 2026 will be held in two sessions. The first session in January 2026 and the second session in April 2026. The exam will be in two shifts. JEE Mains 2026: Exam Paper and Course
Paper 1: It is for BE or B.Tech and is organized for admission in NITs, IIITs, other central technical institutes and colleges recognized by the state government.
Paper 2: This is B.R.A. and B.K. The planning is for admission in the course.
JEE (Advanced) Qualification: The topper students who qualify JEE Mains are eligible for JEE Advanced. Admission in IITs is available through this exam.

JEE Mains 2026: How to register?
Candidates can follow the easy steps given below to apply-
- First go to the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the JEE Main 2026 Registration link available on the homepage.
- The new page will open, where online registration will have to be done.
- After registration, login to your account.
- Fill the application form and pay the application fee.
- Click on submit button and download the form.
- Protect the hard copy of the form, as it may be needed in the future.
JEE Mains 2026: Who are the documents required to apply?
NTA has advised the candidates to keep the necessary documents ready before the application, in which-
- Aadhaar Card (name, date of birth, father’s name and address is correct)
- UDID card (if there is any disability)
- Category Certificate
- Keep in mind that according to class 10th certificate in Aadhaar Card, it is necessary to have the correct name and date of birth.
