Why is JEE Main exam held twice a year?
The question often arises in the minds of many students that why does NTA conduct JEE Main twice a year? Let us tell you that there are some important reasons behind this-
Chances of better score: If a student does not perform well in the first session, he gets another chance to improve his score in Session 2.
Exam Experience: The first session gives students experience of the exam, so that they can recognize their mistakes and perform better in the next session.
Year left: Having two sessions does not spoil one year of the students.
Relief in emergency: If a student misses the first exam due to any reason, he can avoid missing the opportunity by appearing in the second session.
Best score is considered: NTA considers the best score of the students who appeared in both the sessions for counseling and admission.
In this way, students get a big benefit by having two sessions of JEE Main.
